Inspiration to Explore

I found inspiration in Erin's blog today.

I did it over the phone as well.

Lunatic

. . . and a mixture
of gray and dark-blue

clouds passed across
the moon's surface

like exhaled smoke
from psychotic lungs

lingering around
lucidity's neon light

I love it! You know, you've always reminded me of my big brother... and your voice even sounds like him!

I'm SO glad I did the ODEO post, if it was the inspiration for you doing one!

This kicks ass!
*smooch!*
Wonder who else will do one now?

Beautiful! Erin is right -- hearing the poet read adds so much to the experience of the poem.
