Shadows and Reflections

Shadows and reflections

Scratch out the rough drafts of yesterday’s life.

Write in the new words and feelings of your new life,

ones coinciding with parallels of numerous possible realities

that can change within a mere nanosecond of thought.

Some may pass through death without even knowing.

The portal to the dream is always opening, waiting . . . .

Hey James,

Missed ya! I'm going to follow the advice of your poem. It freakishly fits my current situation. Your words have always soothed me.

It sounds mysteriously like the notions of "The Secret" placed nicely into poetry.

Becky. How amazingly wonderful it is to hear from you. This makes me smile.

dita. I must admit, I know not of this "The Secret" you speak of. But your comments are always appreciated and welcomed.

Thank you.

Thank you both.

We have that option to constantly reinvent ourselves and that makes me smile with anticipation and hope.

We have the ability to change what needs changing and to accept what we can't change, I wonder, when we can't change it, do we really do ourselves a favor by changing our attitudes or do we simply give in?

I suppose I'm typing about the things that need changing that really could be changed but require cooperation from others, there's where I find the pitfalls.

heartfelt love,
Lori
