thankfulness

Obviousness
is shadowed
this day by thankfulness.
Observation. Affection. Emotion. Reflection.
And the sun goes down. The night: cognizant.

I didn't want to be the one who spoke in the preceding piece.

I didn't want to be the one who intruded on your thoughts, your vision, your heart.

So I plunk here, in time, lest I disturb the seeing and cause you pain.

I hope you and yours enjoyed the day of thanksgiving. Me and mine foundered on food and drifted into dreams while the Chiefs played football, and actually won. Yippy. xx, Lori

I actually had this vision at a filling station, then, of course, some spoke....

It causes not pain, for pain accompanies all other emotions for me. My mind (my heart) separates them not.

thankx.

What a wonderful poem. It captures what Thanksgiving is all about.

The first three line are tremendous. I could think about them for a long time.
