Greetings from the far side of sanity. Welcome . . . to a world of poetry, creative nonfiction, and occasional fiction as told by James Eric Watkins. And sometimes, I post the lyrics to a song that strikes me as having a message that needs to be shared.

I hate to be one of those idiots who accidentally stumbles onto your page and says something 'not positive'........but damned here I am to do it...
I'm just gonna state the obvious here-- unless there are words I'm missing but I thought Haiku was 5,7,5????
And just so I leave on a positive note---Yeah Poetry!!!
This is what's known as modern haiku. The 5,7,5 format is what's known as traditional haiku.
I hope this clears things up for you.
And Yeah Poetry! Indeed.
Sounds like a cold morning plan to me. I can feel it, it's nice.
love, and all manner of good fortune,
Lori
Something else I wanted to say ...Give me sunshine and lots of it...Take away the gray, cold, hard, make my bones hurt, temperatures.
Bring it in, bring it on, and bring it in abundance, sunshine. Because, "Sunshine on My Shoulder" makes me happy. (I just HAD to go google that song, I'm listening to John's mellow voice while I type, ah, nice.) I seem to have lost my rant. Darn it John.
Miss you, love and light,
Lori
Sunshine
is the lifeblood
we seek in the midst of the gray
I miss you too.
And, of course, the love goes without saying.
