Intellectual Rock

Rush is what I call intellectual rock. Dig it:

You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill.
I will choose a path that's clear.
I will choose freewill.

you know, I always feel bad that I don't comment when I visit here - that I don't stop and let you know I've thought of you, read your posts, been "in your house" so to speak. The problem is... I read and I'm generally left without words to explain the way I react to them. It's odd really, leaves me a mite introspective as to why you have that effect on me.

Anyway. I love you.

Ah, we do have free will. I've always thought Rush was intellectual. I always liked "The Trees". It explains oppression better than anything else I've ever heard or read. I love the metaphors.

Randy and I saw Rush last summer in concert. He got us free tickets. I thought they may be a little worn out. I mean come on, I saw them in concert when I was 15. They rocked and put on one hell of a stage show. It included a killer light show and freaky videos on large screens behind them. It was amazingly good.

Man, I went off on a tangent there...yes, they are intellectual.
