I Never Meant To

Yes
he was
simply
too bright

for us to see

We tried
but his aura
became so intense

that we looked away

and as our eyes
were opening again

he began to ascend

his earthly vessel
holding back gravity
as long as it could

and he became a supernova
extending his soul into every star
reflecting his image in the sheen of our eyes

a pond that God is looking into

But

I never meant
to love you this much

I wrote this days ago. This is not all I have to say, but, after reading Erin's blog this morning, I have to post this, or I'll never get focused today. The truth is I'm weak. But my dear friend Erin has taught me something that I don't think anyone else could, acceptance. These lessons, and there are more than one here, that this child and his mother has taught us are invaluable to the highest degree.

I haven't taught anything James, it was Nova's lesson for us all, I was just the story teller.

I love you.

No typos.

what I said was:

Nothing more true has ever been said. "It was Nova's lesson for us all," but you have.

Amen.
